Long trip with family

Last year my family and I went to Moreaki Boulders.  We were going to Moreaki Boulders because we had to take my uncle to live in Christchurch with his family.   I hoped that it would take a long time so when I got home I wouldn't have to do chores.  

I had to wake up really early because I needed to pick up my uncle to live in Christchurch with his family.  I got ready and took a shower didn’t need to do my hair because I already look handsome back in that year.  Then after we were all ready we left at 8:00.

On our way there my Dad bought me and my brother food. It was delicious but was kind of cold in the van. It was ok.  It took 6 hours to get there and we drove longer than 100 km to get there.

We finally arrived at our destination,  I was happy and hungry at the same time.

I stayed there while my Dad and my uncle went to get KFC (MMMMMMMM) then they came back and I had Krusher’s, chicken, chips, gravy and many more delicious food.  Once we finished eating we stored all of his stuff in the car and in the van.

Then we left early and then we would have to take another long drive back home.  Well atleast we had food and I was still thinking of KFC.  While we were going home my Dad bought us Minties the lollies.  I hid some in my pocket so when my dad said enough I would eat the ones in my pocket.  But we arrived home safely and ate chicken soup then had a good night sleep.  

Last year me and my brother and father went for a trip.  I was happy that I wouldn’t be doing chores and that we can communicate with each other in the van.  And that I can get along with me brother.  And that we did some family bonding.
