How to use the grid method.

This week I have been learning how to use the grid method and soon going to learn other technique.
I am trying to find an easier strategy for me to use.  I am showing you my strategy to see if you like this strategy.

  1. Wow Lasa - I was impressed! You spoke clearly and confidently demonstrating your understanding of multiplication using the grid method. You even used compensation to make the addition equation easier. You should feel very please with yourself!

  3. Lasa - I am a friend of Mr Roberts and I used to be a Principal. That lesson you posted about 16 x 15 was a stunner. I didn't think of that method at all and I now know how to do it. Then you used another strategy to make it easier and clearly understood. It was like a check up method. Congratulations. If you play for Tonga I will remember your name. Maybe you might also become the Mathematics Champion of Tonga. Well done young man.

  4. Lasa- This is very helpful for me because I'm not very good at math so now I can get more questions done. How did you do it because it looks so hard to do who did you learn it from? It looks pretty hard you must be smart to do that.
